Page 26,27,29

The reference sheets were fun to read, again some words were different for me but overall were fun and interesting to me, page 29 when i opened it was upside down...Anyways the technology part to this course continues to be fun and interesting.

Page 1 and 2

I looked at the pages that were assigned for this past week. i read through the words on each paper, i found a couple of words that were kinda confusing probably because i use different words in certain situations, but i did have fun going through them. I find reading the words and than trying to pronounce them a little difficult, its easier for me just to talk the language rather that trying to piece together certain words. all in all its fun and interesting.

Wimba tools

I really like playing around with the applications here, they could be very useful if one should consider teaching Ojibwa language for K-12 or higher education. I have also visited the Ojibwa movie the hunters and i thought it was funny as to where they were hunting at. Right next to the house, made the movie interesting and the conversations that the characters were having were commical. It was fun and interesting.

Flash cards and Multiple choice.....

I have had fun with the flash cards and multiple choice programs on the before you know it language software. It has not only been fun, but very helpful for me as a speaker of the Ojibwa language. The program is an effective way for beginning learners to grasp the basic concepts of the language and just basically have fun learning the vowel system. The multiple choice was also very ammusing for me, I think a very good learning tool.

Hypothesis 2

Opportunities should be provided for students to practice carrying out a range of functions likely to be necessary in dealing with others in the target culture?

Traditional class room instructional settings tend to limit the role of the student to that of a responder; that is, students are most often asked to answer questions.
Students are also seldom asked to make inquiries narrate or describe events, hypothesize or argue or provide opinions in the targeted culture.
